The idea of making a website exclusively dedicated to the Lightweight teams was in our mind for a long time.

Unfortunately several elements lacked to realize it or was necessary that the essential elements met.

In fact if Filippo Leone, Andrea Bianchini and Andrea Putignani had good if not excellent, knowledge of the world of lightweights.

His computer proficiency matched to his young, but great passion for the Subbuteo, made a long lasting dream come true.

For many years we considered necessary to make a site Lw as, although debtors to Peter Upton, we were not completely satisfied of whom it offered the Internet panorama puts into effect them. Perhaps no site at the moment can boast real photos of the hundreds (1500 pieces according a late esteem) of existing Lw teams. The Lw teams in fact, although more recent of the Heavyweight, have such a variety of models to discourage, up to now, whatever attempt of complete catalogation. Catalogues on linens in fact use only some real photos (nearly all taken from catalogues Italians) and instead many designs of she catalogues classics.

The innovation that we propose is to show, as far as possible, the real photos of all the existing Lw squares, including all the possible variations. Obviously, we do not hide it, is an ambitious target that will take a lot of time and application, but we trust in our passion for the Subbuteo and are also sure of the cooperation of everyone we are convinced to reach the unreached.
